Y-Guides & Y-Princesses
Cheerio Nation Volunteers

YMCA of Greater High Point

Always begin somewhere. You can't build a reputation on just what you intend to do.

Home Our volunteers make us successful!

The Y-Guides and Y-Princesses of the Cheerio Nation is administered by the YMCA of Greater High Point, but we rely on numerous volunteer parents to run our program. Whether serving as a tribal chief, tallykeeper, medicine man -- or the parent who grills the hot dogs at the PowWow -- volunteers play a key role in our program's success. We do have some "official" positions that need to be filled each year, and we need additional volunteers to help coordinate many of our Nation's events. If you're interested in serving the Cheerio Nation as a Nation's officer or helping with a particular event, please contact Jeremy Tesh, YMCA Youth Program Director, at 336-869-0151 or jtesh@hpymca.org .
